How to delete blank pages from a PDF
PDFNova can remove blank pages after you identify them; it does not automatically detect blank content. Review the page previews in Delete PDF Pages, select each page you consider blank, and create a copy with those selected pages removed.
Identify blank pages yourself
Open Delete PDF Pages and add one PDF. Inspect every page preview carefully, because faint marks, small footer text, annotations, or scanned artefacts can make an apparently blank page meaningful.
Select only pages to remove
Choose each page preview that you have confirmed is blank. The selected-page count updates beside the controls.
- Select Delete selected pages after checking the highlighted previews.
- Download the pages-removed PDF.
- Compare the resulting sequence with the original document.
Keep a recoverable source
Retain the original until the edited copy has been reviewed. This makes it possible to restore a page that was selected accidentally or contained content that was difficult to see in its preview.
Limitations
- PDFNova does not automatically classify or detect blank pages; the user must inspect and select them.
- At least one page must remain, and the tool cannot recover a removed page after the downloaded copy replaces the source.
