Which PDF page organisation tool solves each problem?

Use Merge to join complete PDFs, Split to create separate outputs from selected pages or ranges, Delete to remove unwanted pages, Reorder to change the sequence of every retained page, and Rotate to correct page orientation. Each operation solves a different organisation problem.

Match the problem to one operation

Choose Merge when separate PDF files need to become one document in a chosen file order. Choose Split when one source needs to produce selected pages, a selected-page document, or one or more page-range outputs.

  • Delete removes pages you select while keeping at least one remaining page in source order.
  • Reorder changes the sequence and requires every source page exactly once; it does not remove or duplicate pages.
  • Rotate changes the viewing orientation of all or selected pages without changing their sequence.

Combine operations deliberately

A document may need more than one pass. For example, remove unwanted pages with Delete, place the remaining pages in reading order with Reorder, correct sideways pages with Rotate, and only then merge the cleaned document with another file.

Download and inspect the output after each important pass. That creates a clear checkpoint and makes it easier to identify which operation introduced an unexpected result.

Check page identity as well as page count

Before distributing the final PDF, compare its cover, section boundaries, first and last pages, page sequence, and orientation with the intended plan. Page count alone will not reveal two pages placed in the wrong order.

Limitations

  • These tools organise complete PDF pages; they do not edit existing paragraphs, images, tables, or individual elements within a page.
  • Delete requires the user to identify unwanted or blank pages and does not automatically classify page content.
