How to reorder scanned contract pages for free
PDFNova's Reorder PDF Pages workflow is free and requires no registration. Review the scanned contract against the controlled original, move every page into the correct sequence, export the reordered PDF in the browser, and verify clauses, signatures, schedules, and annexes before use.

Establish the correct contract sequence
Use the signed paper set, controlled electronic version, contract index, or document register as the sequence reference. Do not rely only on the order produced by the scanner.
Record the expected order for the cover, contents, main clauses, signature pages, schedules, exhibits, and annexes.
- Confirm whether blank separator pages must remain.
- Identify duplicate scans before changing the order.
- Check whether any page is missing before proceeding.
Move every page into position
Open Reorder PDF Pages and add the scanned contract. Use the page thumbnails and controls to create a complete sequence containing every source page exactly once.
Export the reordered result only after the displayed order matches the contract reference.
Perform a contract-specific review
Check clause continuity, signature-page placement, schedule headings, annex numbering, page orientation, and the transition between every major section.
Keep the original scan and record the corrected file as a new revision rather than silently overwriting the source.
- Verify the names and signatures remain on the correct pages.
- Verify every referenced schedule or annex is present.
- Use approved legal or records-management review where required.
Limitations
- Reordering changes page sequence only; it does not validate contract meaning, signatures, legal effect, or document authenticity.
- The workflow keeps every source page exactly once, so unwanted duplicate or blank pages require a separate Delete PDF Pages task.
