How to merge reports and appendices into one PDF for free
PDFNova's Merge PDF workflow is free and requires no registration. Add the report and appendix files, arrange them in the required submission order, merge them in the browser, and verify every section before sending the combined work document.

Prepare the complete report package
Collect the cover page, main report, schedules, drawings, supporting evidence, and appendices that belong in the final file. Use clear source names so each document is easy to identify before merging.
Keep an unchanged copy of every source file and exclude draft or duplicate versions from the working folder.
- Place the cover or transmittal document first.
- Place the main report before its supporting appendices.
- Confirm that each intended source file appears exactly once.
Arrange and merge the PDFs
Open Merge PDF, add between two and ten supported files, and arrange them in the exact order required by the client, manager, authority, or internal process.
Choose Merge PDFs and wait for the browser-local task to finish. The output contains complete pages from the source files in the displayed file order.
Check the combined submission
Open the downloaded PDF and inspect the transition between every source document. Verify the cover, contents page, report ending, appendix openings, total page count, and any page numbering already present in the sources.
Rename the verified output using the required project, client, date, or revision convention before distribution.
- Check that no appendix is missing or repeated.
- Check that portrait and landscape pages remain readable.
- Retain the original source files until acceptance is confirmed.
Limitations
- Merge PDF joins complete source pages; it does not create a new table of contents or harmonize existing page numbers automatically.
- Large or complex report packages can still exceed available browser or device resources even when each file is within the published limit.
